Today in maths we made a robot out of angles here is what I did:

For numeracy today, we have started to learn about angles.  

We learnt about 3 different angles today - acute (less than 90°), right angle (90°), and obtuse (larger than 90° but smaller than 180°).  We also learnt how to use a protractor to measure angles.  We know that we need to measure an angle from a vertice (a corner where two straight lines meet).

We had to measure three different angles on the first letter of our name for our create task - can you figure out if they are acute, right angle or obtuse?

The yelnats curse

Kia Ora bloggers In reading, we are reading a book called holes it is about a boy called Stanley yelnats funny enough his name can be said forwards and backward.

The story so far. 

• Stanley was sent to camp green for a crime he didn't commit 
• He was accused of stealing from Clyde Livingstone a famous baseball player
• At the camp green lake he to dig a hole 5 foot deep and 5 foot wide 
• camp green lake is a dry white land in the middle camp green lake is a dry white land in the middle of the Desert 
• Stanley is from a poor family he is overweight and at school, he was bullied by a kid that is younger than him
• Stanley family is cursed he always seems to be in the wrong place at the wrong time
